Its hard to believe that it’s already November again. Hawkwood Farm is bustling with activity. We harvested our grapes in October. Erin has been making beautiful furniture and knives, and has been teaching knife classes all season. The sun is shining, the leaves are brightly displaying their fiery autumn colors. It seems that there are hawks circling and calling almost every day. The circle of life is everywhere. Regardless of the tumultuous times of change in which we are living, the simple and steadiness of life continues as always. Joseph Campbell says that the world is crazy. That it’s always been crazy. It’s supposed to be crazy. Our role is to learn and teach how to live and navigate in that crazy world. And so daily we wake, and we do our utmost with what we have been given. Aspire. Inspire. Outward and upward, with gratitude for every day.
